• The Committee on Information scheduled to meet 18 April will review, among other things, the pending regionalization plans initiated last year by the Department of Public Information.

• Reform proposals by the Secretary General will be receiving more scrutiny from member states particularly questions relating to what developing countries feel are unfair to them.

• The post of Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Asia and Pacific in Bangkok is likely to become vacant.
