• With the recent trip to Saudi Arabia and France, the fate of two senior posts would be certainly discussed: the Executive Director of U.N. Fund for Populations activties and Head of Peacekeeping.
  
  

• A memorandum of understanding is awaited between the French government and the U.N. for a forthcoming general DPI/NGO Conference scheduled to be held in Paris 3 September.
  
  

• The newly-elected President of the forthcoming General Assembly Session will be selecting his organizational term within the new few weeks before the opening of the Session in September.
