Many of those who mainly count diplomatic arithmetic thought that
Conrad Mselle, long-time Chairman of the Advisory Committee on
Administrative and Budgetary Questions (ACABQ) would be facing
an uphill fight for re-election to that body's membership. Another
African country had forwarded what was considered a geographically
agreed candidate. However, professional experience, personal standing
and intellectual memory won the day. Three more years for Mr.
Mselle - Congratulations!
